day 4

One hand on the clit, the other on the pen. I read We Can Come Home & felt prompted. Noticing how my clit hand wiggles cursive as I write.

  1. Desk writing, reading & touching me
  2. Suck

day 3: what she said

Still in the pushed down after of it, when my consciousness slips down and everything is a little bit like pudding, or maybe more embodied.
After I cum I like to go pee. Because once, I had a UTI and it was the Most Horrible Experience. I was on an airplane. think it had to do more with the ocean, but. Or, it’s because when I was a kid I used to go pee before dinner after I’d rubbed out on the bear and stumbled downstairs flushed in the cheeks and wobbling in the pushed down after of it.

Out of the shadows and into the streets!

On March 14 2012, Tania Chairez and Jessica Hyejin Lee, openly undocumented and unafraid mujeres, blocked traffic in an act of civil disobedience in front of ICE headquarters in Philadelphia. They risked deportation to free Miguel, another undocumented youth who has been in ICE detention for more than 8 months, separated from his wife and U.S. citizen son.

shifting to fresh

I want to say a quick thing.

I’ve been deep in the Eden story, its part one and three. The cupped hands for this narrative.

A friend gave me news today in casual reunion friend chat and I felt you know, the physical remember of an old pain. Something that inspires a question in me, something that pushes me to write toward healing — I doubt an answer so I aim elsewhere. The Eden story is a cut and paste and glue, and the method gets tiresome and yet it keeps the tone… I’ve been at this cut & paste for over a week, touching in on it, pulling out. Yesterday I started watching movies again.

And after hearing what my friend had to say I shifted — or, I had shifted before falling asleep writing myself back into the non-mythical present tense place in the story — and the writing felt fresh. I knew in my body that the cut glue was feeling un-fresh and it just took a shift of feeling to push my words in a different direction. I’m pleased because I’m writing at the ending and I can imagine writing from the beginning at Eden from the ending in my typewriter toward the middle. ‘Burning the candle at both ends’ toward the middle til the text is done.
